An old Devonshire variety that was once grown extensively at Whiteways cider orchards in Whimple. Old trees are only rarely found in parts of East Devon . Now propagated as a standard tree for new plantings. |

General description |
A medium – large regular rounded, rather flattened conical apple. Greasy yellow-green with a bright red flush. Stem thin or woody, projecting distinctly from a broad basin. |
