A small yellow and red striped apple with a longish stem. Rather cylindrical or sometimes conical, with a flattened nose and quite angular in section. |

Cider |
Our 2007 sample: A piquant slightly smoky pale straw coloured cider with a marked appley taste. But mouth-wateringly acidic with some astringency. Suitable for blending. |
