Midseason Sweet Cider Apple

General description

 

A fairly large pale green rounded conical apple with a distinctly long stem and 5 or more bumpy crowns around the eye. Sweet, with a chewy texture.

 

Season

 

Mid – late October

 

Typical Juice

 

Sweet. SG 1040, Sugar 10.8%, acidity 0.19%, tannin 4.1 g/l

 

Cider

 

No cider made from this in 2007, but likely to contribute a typical Dorset             sweet character to a blended cider.
