A Very old West Country farm orchard apple.

 

General description

 

Tree growth spreading, inclined to be weeping. Cropping biennial.

 

Season

 

Late Ocrober - early November. Keeps well.

 

Typical Juice

 

Sugar content often low. SG 1043, acidity 0.23%, tannin 0.4g/l

 

Cider

 

Yields a sharp cider. Astringent and thin.
